I am staying home from Bible Study today because of a cold.
Jesus, lead me, guide me, prompt me today.
I am so tender, and forgetful, and feel ….
Stop right there?
You are listing all these things – all based on feelings.
So…..
Stop – Drop those thoughts – and Roll with my Word.
Ha. That is funny. I like it.
Quit wallowing in negativity – in this space of sorrow.
Let’s work through it ok?

Thank you Jesus for your direction in my life.
I see how I keep trying to get my value from the amount of money I make and maybe how I look.
If I am making money and at my goal weight I think I would have it made.
That is not true.
I already have it made.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Live like you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
You take joy in my creativity and humor in the variety of animals and bugs I made – embrace the unique way I made you.
Wow, Holy Spirit! Thank you for these words you have reminded me of today.
Even before I say a word – you know it.
Hem me in – behind and before and lay your hand upon me.
You never leave me – I cannot go anywhere that you are not there.
Your right-hand holds me.
You formed my inward parts.
I praise you for I am fearfully & wonderfully made.
Your eyes saw me before I took a breath.
You knew when I would be born and you know when I will die.
Deliver me from evil.
Guard me, O Lord.
Preserve me.
You are my God – give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy and help.
Set a GUARD over my mouth;
Do not let my heart incline to any evil.
What gain have I from my toil?
You have given me work to be busy with.
You have made everything beautiful in its time.
What does that mean?
That there is nothing better for me than to be joyful and to do good as long as I am alive.
That I should eat and drink and take pleasure in all my toil – that is your gift to me.
Whatever you do, God endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it.
God has done it.
You are so good to me, Jesus.
I love YOUR WORDS you have given me today.
Praying I stay in You and fully rely on and trust in You today.
Be joyful in the work you have given me.
Fully embrace it with joy and find my value in the task you set before me, knowing the value it gives me is far more precious than money and recognition.
